FAQ

How does the 12/12 PRO compare to the FTools 12/10 PRO?

The 12/12 PRO has all twelve drawers equipped. Drawer 11 adds oil filter and drain plug tools, and Drawer 12 adds 1/2" impact sockets in short and long versions, 8–24 mm. In the 12/10 PRO these two drawers are free.

Are the VDE screwdrivers rated for live work?

Yes. The 7 VDE screwdrivers in Drawer 10 carry certified 1000V insulation — safe for work on live electrical installations up to 1000V.

What is the crimping kit for?

The crimping tool with wire stripper and insulated terminals in Drawer 8 allows professional finishing of electrical cables — crimping conductors before connecting to terminal blocks, controllers, and electrical devices.

Do the ratchet combination wrenches with joint differ from standard?

Yes. The jointed ratchet wrenches in Drawer 3 allow working at an angle — the joint lets you tighten fasteners when the wrench cannot be held perpendicular. The ratchet mechanism eliminates repositioning the wrench with each turn.
